Storage types
Below you will find more information about the different types of storage we offer. If you have any particular needs that are not addressed, please reach out to a customer service representative. We are happy to discuss your individual needs.
What type of storage you need?
- Climate-Controlled Storage
- Conventional Storage
Our climate-controlled self-storage facilities mean that your sensitive items are kept within a temperature range that protects them from extreme heat or cold all year long. For additional protection, facilities are located indoors.
Wooden items are protected from warping, cracking or tearing. Also, it can prevent yellowing and degradation of leather and fabrics. It also keeps away mildew, pests, and rust. Climate control is also important to protect electrical items from permanent damage.
Items That Benefit from Climate Control:
- Electronics like cameras, TV’s, speakers, computers
- Records, photos, film
- Furniture
- Artwork
- Instruments
Conventional storage is less expensive, making renting more affordable. You may find that climate-controlled storage is not the best option for you. Here are some questions to consider:
- Are you storing items that are sensitive to temperature?
- Are you storing items for a long period of time?
- Are you storing expensive, irreplaceable, or sentimental items?
If you answered "no" to the above questions, a conventional storage unit should be just fine. Be sure to speak to one of our customer representatives if you need help deciding. What items are suited to conventional storage?
- Water hoses
- Tools
- Kitchen items
- Metal furniture
- Lawn equipment like tractors, mowers, weed eaters
- Gardening equipment
- Outdoor furniture
- Sports equipment
You can back your car up to any of our units, and some are even equipped with solar panels making them environmentally friendly.
